Job summary

InProduction, a leading provider of temporary seating, staging, structures, and scenic production, seeks a warehouse laborer in Birmingham, AL. Duties include cleaning and prepping rental equipment, inspecting for damage, maintaining clean work areas, and performing basic maintenance.

Must pass background and drug screening; bilingual Spanish/English preferred. This full-time, on-site role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, outdoor work, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Clean, prepare and de-prepare rental equipment.

• Support other warehouse/yard operations as directed.
• Ensure safety measures are followed and tools/equipment are cleaned after shift.

About the Job

• Clean, prepare and de-prepare rental equipment using pressure washers, cleaning agents, and hand tools.
• Inspect equipment for damage or excessive wear and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning bays and storage zones.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform basic maintenance tasks as needed (e.g., replacing glass, removing tape and decals).
• Support other warehouse or yard operations as directed.
• Ensure appropriate safety measures are followed
• Make sure that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
• Other duties as required

• Previous experience in general labor, equipment cleaning, or warehouse work preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pass background check and drug screening requirements
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Familiar with basic hand tools
• Pay attention to detail and become familiar with industrial equipment
• Able to work overtime occasionally
• Able to read and understand safety instructions
