Volt is hiring General Laborers in Baytown, Texas. The role includes sorting, measuring, scanning and picking orders, maintaining a clean work area, and moving machinery as directed by supervision.

Candidates must have a HS diploma or GED, be fluent in English, possess strong math skills, and have 3 years of verifiable general labor experience. A background check and drug test are required; steel toe shoes are needed.

Move Forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring General Laborers in Baytown, Texas.

As a General Laborer, you will:

• General labor tasks including sorting, measuring, scanning and picking orders
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Move and set up machinery as directed by Lead or Supervisor
• Be able to follow all Visual Operating Procedures required for your assigned task.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

This is a full-time opportunity.

Schedule

• 1st shift: 8am to 5:30pm or 4:30am to 2pm
• 2nd shift: 2:30pm to 12am

The ideal candidate will have:

• HS Diploma or GED is required
• Must speak, read and write English
• Good mathematical skills
• Must have 3 years of verifiable work experience. General Labor preferred.
• Background check and drug test is required
• Steel Toe Shoes are required

Pay

• Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
