EnerStaff LLC is seeking a reliable General Laborer in Houston, TX to support our manufacturing team. Start ASAP with 1st or 2nd shifts; pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour.

The role involves palletizing, cement lining, machine operation, sandblasting, painting, and assembly, with lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods. Ideal candidates have basic machine operation knowledge and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or general labor role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs consistently) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic knowledge of machine operation and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Palletizing: Safely and efficiently organize and stack products onto pallets for shipment, transfer, or storage.
• Cement Lining: Apply cement lining to ductile iron fittings by hand or equipment, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Machine Operation: Operate manufacturing machinery safely and effectively, following safety protocols and production schedules.
• Sandblasting: Prepare and clean surfaces using sandblasting equipment to remove debris, rust, or coatings.
• Painting: Assist with painting and coating surfaces of manufactured parts.
• Assembly: Perform mechanical assembly of parts and components per specifications and blueprints.
• Lifting Parts: Physically lift and move parts and materials of varying weights.
• Warehouse Cleaning & Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• All other duties as assigned.

This position involves a variety of hands-on tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the production process. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, performing physical tasks such as palletizing, cement lining, sandblasting, painting, assembly, lifting heavy parts, operating machines, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.

• Palletizing: Safely and efficiently organize and stack products onto pallets for shipment, transfer, or storage.
• Cement Lining: Apply cement lining to ductile iron fittings by hand or equipment as needed,
• ensuring quality and consistency in the application.
• Machine Operation: Operate manufacturing machinery safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols and production schedules. May involve setup, part placement, and monitoring. This does not require programing or specialized expertise.
• Sandblasting: Prepare and clean surfaces of metal, concrete, or other materials using sandblasting equipment to remove debris, rust, or coatings.
• Painting: Assist with painting and coating surfaces of manufactured parts using various methods, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
• Assembly: Perform mechanical assembly of parts and components according to detailed specifications and blueprints, ensuring proper fit and function.
• Lifting Parts: Physically lift and move parts, materials, or products of varying weights and sizes throughout the production area.
• Warehouse Cleaning & Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, disposing of waste, and cleaning machinery and workstations regularly.
• All other duties as assigned.
