Qualifications

• Knowledge obtained by formal education or on-the-job training of instruments and quality control methods.
• Must possess knowledge of blood bank, hematology, serology, urinalysis, chemistry, and microbiology.
• Must have or acquire necessary computer skills to perform assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex tests using manual and automated procedures.
• Assumes responsibility for proper quality control measures.
• Troubleshoots instruments and performs preventative maintenance.
• Assists in training MLT students and new employees.
