Rueter & Zenor Co is seeking a General IT professional based in Elkhart, IA, to manage and support IT systems across multiple company locations. You will troubleshoot issues, maintain servers, and assist with security upgrades while supporting end-users and onboarding new staff.

The role requires 1–2+ years of IT support experience, an Associates degree or equivalent, and willingness to travel for on-site support. Office 365, cloud solutions, and network security experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years’ experience in general IT support, including desktop support, network troubleshooting, and server maintenance.
• Associates degree or equivalent experience in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with network management, Windows operating systems, and basic server administration.
• Experience with Office 365, cloud solutions, endpoint security, and backup systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, servers, and printers.
• Set up and configure new employee computers, ensuring all necessary software and systems are installed and ready for use.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

• Perform regular system updates, backups, and recoveries.
• Monitor IT systems to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.

• Ensure the company’s network and data security by applying appropriate measures and tools.

• Collaborate with leadership to manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology procurement.

Company Overview:

Job Function:

The General IT will be responsible for managing and supporting the company's IT systems, ensuring smooth operations across multiple locations. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, performing system maintenance, supporting network infrastructure, and assisting with technology setups for new employees. The General IT will also provide training and support to end users, as well as assist with technology upgrades and security management. Travel between locations will be required as part of the role.

Work Environment:

This role is based at the Elkhart location and operates in an office environment.

Schedule:

Full-time position with working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
