Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a part-time academic General Internal Medicine/Primary Care physician to lead educational activities and supervise patient care across ambulatory and hospital settings. The role includes teaching medical students, residents, and fellows at the University and affiliated hospitals.

Requirements include an MD from an LCME-accredited school, completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency, Texas licensure

Qualifications

• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency program (ACGME-accredited).
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure.
• Board-certified in Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational leadership and supervise patient care in ambulatory and hospital settings.
• Teach and train medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Provide clinical care in ambulatory and hospital settings at UT Southwestern and affiliated hospitals.

Job description

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine is seeking a part-time academic general internal medicine/primary care physician. Responsibilities include providing educational leadership and supervising patient care in ambulatory and hospital settings at the University and its affiliated hospitals, in addition to the teaching and training of medical students, house staff, and fellows.

The position requires an M.D. degree or equivalent from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program at an ACGME-accredited program. The candidate must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and be board-certified in Internal Medicine.
