The Society of General Internal Medicine seeks a Chief of General Internal Medicine & Geriatric Medicine in New Orleans, LA. This role provides leadership across clinical care, teaching, scholarship, administration, and research within the section and interfaces with the Department Head of Internal Medicine.

Ideal candidates are MDs eligible for appointment at Associate Professor or Professor level, board certified in Internal Medicine, and licensed in Louisiana prior to employment.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent and eligible for appointment as Associate Professor or Professor of Medicine.
• Board certified in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana prior to start of employment.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for the clinical, teaching, scholarship, administration, and research activities of the General Internal Medicine & Geriatric Medicine section.

MD or equivalent, currently holding or eligible for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor of Professor of Medicine, board certified in Internal Medicine, and licensed to practice medicine in the State of Louisiana, prior to start of employment.
