AllClear Underground Solutions is seeking a WaterMeterReplacementTechnician to join the Infrastructure Rehabilitation team in Stone Mountain, GA. You will perform outdoor meter replacement, upgrading residential services to AMI/AMR technology with focus on accuracy and customer interaction.

This is a high-volume field role requiring careful workmanship, adherence to safety practices, and clear communication with residents and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Construction experience preferred.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools (pipe wrenches, channel locks, wire snips) and ability to work with various piping materials.
• Ability to operate GPS-enabled handheld devices and Work Order Management Software.
• Basic understanding of residential water service configurations and backflow prevention.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel and overtime as required.

Responsabilités

• Install meters and remove old meters, ensuring proper alignment and leak-free connections.
• Meet daily replacement quotas without compromising quality.
• Record serial numbers and readings with handheld devices.
• Test systems on site for pressure and leaks after installation.
• Identify and report plumbing issues at the meter box.
• Restore site surroundings and meter boxes to original condition.
• Maintain zero data-entry errors; readings affect billing.
• Notify residents before shutdowns; explain upgrade process.
• Present a professional appearance as the company face.
