Job summary

TKO StaffPros, LLC in Minnesota is hiring General Helpers to support Furnace Operators on 12-hour rotating shifts. You'll follow work instructions to perform tasks safely, work in all furnace areas, and start with basic training on casting operations.

Physical work in warm areas, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using cranes, forklifts and other material handling equipment are part of the role. Strong teamwork and problem-solving are valued as you monitor gauges and ensure the machine runs smoothly.

• Follows work instructions to perform tasks safely and consistently
• Work in all areas of the furnace
• Starts with basic training on casting operations
• Minimizes losses throughout process; lifting up to 50 pounds
• Monitor gauges, dials or indicators to ensure machines operate properly
• Will use cranes, forklifts and other material moving equipment
• Physical work in warm areas; good communication, mechanical aptitude, problem solving, adaptability and teamwork

Job description

We are currently hiring General Helpers for Furnace Operators.

Job Duties and Expectations Include:

• Follows work instructions to perform tasks safely and consistent
  
• Work in all areas of the furnace
  
• Starts with basic training on casting operations
  
• Minimizes losses throughout process Job duties require lifting up to 50 pounds
  
• Monitor the operation of gauges dials or other indicators to make sure the machine is working properly
  
• Will use cranes, forklifts and other material moving equipment
  
• Physical work in warm areas. Good communication skills, mechanical aptitude are plus, problem solving skills is a plus, adaptability to various working conditions, and working in a team.
  

Schedule works 12 hour rotating shifts, 14 shifts per month with every month 7 consecutive days off (1 week off every month).
