Job summary

Dowa THT America Inc. is seeking a Furnace Operator to perform furnace and gas checks, maintain logs, load and unload furnaces by recipe, and support part setting as needed.

The position involves a 12-hour shift, rotating weekends, from 5 am to 5 pm, on site in Bowling Green, OH. Ideal candidates have a high school education or equivalent, excellent attention to detail, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs intermittently, and a commitment to safety guidelines.

Job description

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Furnace Operator is responsible for all furnace checks, gas checks, and logged recordings; loading of furnaces and unloading per recipe and alarm; providing additional support to part setting as is necessary.

This is a 12 hour shift, rotating weekends. 5 am to 5 pm.

The successful candidate will have a

• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. intermittently.
• Ability to stand for 12 hours and work every other weekend.
• Respect for and adherence to safety guidelines.

Minimum starting pay is from $20.00/hr. for no production experience and higher for candidates having experience in a production environment.
