Job summary

Singhmar Centre for Learning in Edmonton, AB seeks a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations, including cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing. You will help maintain room and facility cleanliness while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

The role requires a Food Handler Certificate and good English skills; experience in Tim Hortons environments is preferred. Shift: Monday–Friday 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Qualifications

Description

How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About you:

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the Tim Hortons environment is required
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Shift- Monday - Friday 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm
