Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education is looking for a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations in our dining services, including cleaning, food preparation, serving meals and dishwashing in a healthcare/education setting.

You will assist with set up and cleanup of chairs and tables, deliver trays to residents, and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, while following health and safety guidelines and reporting any injuries or hazards.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset.
• Healthcare environment or long-term care experience preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About you:

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
