Job Summary:

Oversees multiple general labor crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to DPR's standards of quality and performance. Manages field operations related to site preparation, material handling, and equipment maintenance across projects of varying size and complexity. Coordinates labor and resources, fosters workforce development, and drives continuous improvement in operational efficiency. Partners with project leadership to align general labor activities with project objectives and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages multiple general labor crews, ensuring all tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
• Plans and coordinates labor, materials, and equipment resources to support daily site operations and maintain productivity.
• Collaborates with superintendents and project managers to integrate general labor activities into overall project schedules.
• Mentors and develops foremen and crew leads to enhance technical capability and leadership effectiveness.
• Oversees process improvements to minimize safety risks, optimize material and labor utilization, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Monitors progress, reviews reports, and communicates operational updates to senior leadership.
• Conducts site inspections to verify quality, safety compliance, and adherence to DPR standards.

Education Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:

7 years of experience in general labor, construction, or a related field required. 1-2 years of experience in a managerial capacity required.

Certifications and Licenses:

• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification required.
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.
