Job summary

DPR Construction in San Jose is seeking a General Laborer to support on-site activities across our projects. You will perform site preparation, material handling, and equipment maintenance while following safety procedures.

With 2–4 years of experience in general labor or construction and OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred), you will help keep workflows efficient and ensure quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in general labor, construction, or a related field.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required; OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.

• Performs general labor tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and equipment maintenance.
• Follows established safety procedures and uses required protective equipment.
• Assists other team members and trades with assigned work to support project efficiency.

• Communicates task progress and challenges to leadership to facilitate effective workflow.

Job Summary:

Performs a variety of physical and general construction tasks that support overall project progress and completion. Executes assignments safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail. Collaborates with team members to maintain workflow and quality across all site activities. Contributes to a safe, organized, and productive work environment through consistent adherence to safety procedures and work standards.

• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.
