Job summary
Exelon is seeking a General Engineer to support engineering across electric and gas distribution, transmission, and substations. The role involves developing engineering solutions, managing technical deliverables, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Extended hours may be required for storms or energy emergencies. The candidate will perform moderately complex assignments, lead small projects, provide technical support for design, installation, and maintenance, and participate in system evaluation
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or PE licensure.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of codes, standards, and engineering practices.
- Experience with complex field test equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering assignments of moderate complexity under guidance.
- Lead small engineering projects coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical support to design, installation and maintenance groups.
- Participate in evaluating and improving technical systems and processes.
