Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a dedicated general dentist to join our team in Torrington, CT. The Dentist will oversee the full clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care, offering in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatments.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and oral tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay updated with new developments and technologies.
