Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a general dentist to join our team in Torrington, Connecticut. The role covers the full patient journey from exam to treatment delivery, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer part-time or full-time schedules (2-5 days per week, 8AM-5PM) with in-office compensation up to 36%. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and ongoing CE opportunities through Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dental license to practice.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest standard of care and ethics.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination
