Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join our team. The Dentist oversees the full patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

This role offers either part-time or full-time schedules, compensation up to 36% of collections, and a benefits package featuring health, dental and vision coverage, 401K, CE opportunities, and professional growth in a collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
