Job summary

Smile Dental Group of Conyers is seeking a full-time Associate General Dentist to join our Conyers, Georgia practice. You will provide comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages, performing exams, restorations, extractions, root canals, and more while focusing on prevention and patient comfort.

Collaborate with a skilled clinical team to deliver high-quality care, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and participate in ongoing quality improvement. Eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active state dental license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical skills across a broad range of general dentistry.
• Excellent communication and patient management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex dental procedures including exams, fillings, crowns, bridges, removable prosthodontics (partial/immediate/complete dentures) extractions, and root canals.
• Diagnose oral diseases and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health, preventative care, and treatment options.
• Administer local anesthesia and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Supervise dental assistants and hygienists to support coordinated patient care.
• Communicate findings and treatment plans clearly with patients and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
• Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and front-office staff to ensure seamless patient experiences.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, OSHA guidelines, and licensure requirements.
