• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Active license to practice as RDH in Georgia.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification if applicable.
• Laser therapy certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in general dentistry preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing.
• Conduct periodontal charting, probing, and pathology screening.
• Take and evaluate digital radiographs.
• Apply fluoride varnish and sealants.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide if permitted.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-care.
• Review medical histories and coordinate with dentist.
• Document patient records in EHR.
• Support treatment planning and participate in staff meetings.
