Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is hiring a General Dentist to lead the patient care from exam to treatment planning, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Earn up to 36% of collections and enjoy comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry in the applicable state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and oral tissues.
• Maintain high standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.

Education
