Nevada Dental Benefits is seeking a General Dentist to join our Tropicana location in Las Vegas, NV. This full-time role offers a four-day workweek, collaborative clinical and operational support, and a focus on high-quality patient care without sales pressure.

The position involves comprehensive dental services within the Nevada license scope, including exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, preventive/restorative care, extractions, anesthesia, and documentation.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Current and unrestricted Nevada dental license in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Current DEA registration, as applicable.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative dental team.
• General dentistry experience preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete required credentialing and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive, periodic, limited, and emergency dental examinations.
• Diagnose dental and oral conditions.
• Review and interpret radiographs and other diagnostic findings.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and recommendations.
• Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care.
• Perform extractions and other general dentistry procedures within the provider's training and scope of practice.
• Administer local anesthesia.
• Prescribe medications when clinically appropriate and legally authorized.
• Accurately document diagnoses, treatment, clinical findings, and patient communications.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care when specialty treatment is needed.
• Work collaboratively with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and practice leadership.
• Maintain appropriate infection prevention, patient safety, documentation, and regulatory standards.

Position Summary

Nevada Dental Benefits is seeking a General Dentist to join our team at our new Tropicana dental center in Las Vegas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist who enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment and wants the benefit of a consistent four-day workweek. Our providers are supported by an experienced clinical and operational team and have the opportunity to focus on delivering high-quality dental care without the sales pressure commonly found in traditional dental environments.
