Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Current Nevada dental license in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Current DEA registration, as applicable.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative dental team.
• General dentistry experience preferred.
• Ability to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive, periodic, limited, and emergency dental examinations.
• Diagnose dental and oral conditions.
• Review and interpret radiographs and diagnostic findings.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and recommendations.
• Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care.
• Perform extractions and other general dentistry procedures within training and scope.
• Administer local anesthesia.
• Prescribe medications when clinically appropriate and legally authorized.
• Document diagnoses, treatment, findings, and communications.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care for specialty treatment.

Location: Craig Dental Center – Las Vegas, NV

Position Summary

Nevada Dental Benefits is seeking a General Dentist to join our team at our Craig dental center in Las Vegas.

This is a great opportunity for a dentist who enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment with strong clinical and operational support. Our providers are able to focus on delivering high-quality dental care without the sales pressure often associated with traditional dental practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive, periodic, limited, and emergency dental examinations
• Diagnose dental and oral conditions
• Review and interpret radiographs and diagnostic findings
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and recommendations
• Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care
• Perform extractions and other general dentistry procedures within the provider's training and scope of practice
• Administer local anesthesia
• Prescribe medications when clinically appropriate and legally authorized
• Accurately document diagnoses, treatment, clinical findings, and patient communications
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care when specialty treatment is needed
• Work collaboratively with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and practice leadership
• Maintain appropriate infection prevention, patient safety, documentation, and regulatory standards
