Job summary

Main Street Dental Care in New York seeks a Dentist to join our growing practice. You will deliver high-quality dental care, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a supportive team focused on patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • DMD/DDS degree from an accredited program.
  • Current NY state dental license in good standing.
  • Current DEA license.
  • Board certification or eligibility in dentistry.
  • 1+ years of practical dental experience.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patients with chairside manner and patient-first attitude.
  • Develop patient treatment plans.
  • Perform preventive, prosthodontic, endodontic, extractions, and related procedures.
  • Prescribe medications as needed.
  • Educate patients on at-home care and follow-ups.
  • Refer to specialists for complex whitening and root canal therapy.

Necessary Qualifications And Licensure
  • 1+ years of practical experience: we’re looking for Dentists of all levels of experience to grow our community
  • Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in Dentistry
  • Candidates must have a DMD/DDS dental degree from an accredited program
  • Current NY state license in good standing
  • Current DEA license
  • Conversant in English and Spanish
  • Owner mentality - provide excellent service, no matter the task
  • Compassionate team player - who puts patient outcomes first and foremost, and is willing to help and receive help
  • Level-headed and works well under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current and unrestricted state license in NJ in good standing
  • Botox certification
  • Implants certification
  • Conversant in Creole or French
  • Other specialty procedure certifications
Accountabilities
  • Management of patients, with excellent chairside manner and a patient-first attitude
  • Development of patient treatment plans
  • Execution of preventive treatments (cleanings, scalings, etc)
  • Execution of prosthodontic treatments (crowns, bridges,
  • Execution of endodontic treatments (root canals)
  • Execution of extractions, surgical extractions, fillings, and other such dental procedures that do not require a specialist’s hand
  • Careful prescription of medications when needed
  • Provide patient education and at‑home care and instructions to ensure treatment and oral health improvements for our community of patients
  • Internal referral to our specialists for whitenings, root canal therapy, etc.
