Job summary

Chateaux Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Colorado is seeking an experienced Extended Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA). You will prepare patients and rooms, assist with procedures including fillings, cleanings, and implants, and perform expanded functions within your scope.

Qualifications

• EFDA certification or an Associate’s degree in Dental Assisting.
• 2+ years of continuous dental assisting experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for procedures.
• Assist the doctor with a variety of procedures, including fillings, cleanings, root canals, extractions, crowns and bridges, and dental implants.
• Perform expanded functions within your scope of practice.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and prepare treatment trays.
• Obtain and document medical and dental histories.
• Help keep the practice running efficiently and provide a positive experience for patients.
