Job summary

Buckhead Smile Center in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join a dynamic team. The role offers competitive pay and growth opportunities with full benefits, including a company 401k match after 90 days.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of dental assisting, strong clinical skills, and are comfortable in a busy practice. Open Dental and iTero experience are a big plus. Alternating Saturdays are required with a compensating weekday off.

Qualifications

• EFDA required and X-ray certificate valid.
• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Experience with Open Dental and iTero is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of dental procedures in a fast-paced practice.
• Maintain clinical skills and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Support the team and accommodate alternating Saturdays.

What We’re Looking For:

• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA required)
• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience required
• Strong clinical skills and confidence assisting with a variety of procedures
• Experience with Open Dental and iTero is a big plus
• Dependable, positive, team-oriented, and comfortable in a busy practice
• Alternating Saturdays required — when you work a Saturday, you’ll receive a weekday off that same week

Requirements

Education and Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
• Valid X-ray certificate.
• Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
• CPR & first aid certificate.
