Base pay range

$110.00/hr - $125.00/hr

Location: Brooktondale, NY 14817

Facility type: Juvenile Detention Center

Shift Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Flexible hours between 16-40 hours/week, full-time preferred)

Duration: 24 months

Pay Rate: $110 - $125 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough exams of teeth and oral structures using x-rays, mouth mirrors, and other diagnostic tools to identify irregularities or conditions.
• Treat dental diseases, injuries, and malfunctions of teeth and gums.
• Perform restorations for simple and compound cavities.
• Administer root canals, crowns, and other procedures.
• Provide anesthetics and perform oral surgeries within professional qualifications.
• Conduct tooth extractions and scale teeth to remove calculus.
• Treat gum infections or diseases through surgery or medication.
• Keep detailed records of dental treatments.
• Educate patients on proper dental health practices.
• Supervise and guide dental support staff in their auxiliary duties.
