Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled dentist to join our fast-paced office offering a variety of dental procedures. You should have the experience, current licensure in good standing, and effective communication skills. We offer a range of benefits, a highly trained clinical staff, UPSIDE earning potential, a signing bonus, and assistance with securing a state license. Responsibilities: • Conduct work that is compliant with office policies and procedures; safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines; and infection and infectious diseases control standards • Teach patients how to use recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene • Coordinate and perform preventive dental care treatments such as sealants, x-rays, flossing, fillings, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated • Refer patient to dental specialists such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, and periodontists when appropriate • Supervise dental assistants, dental hygienists, associate dentists, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans Qualifications: • Strong bedside manner and great communication skills are necessary • DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school, and a Bachelor’s degree are required • Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in Dentistry • A minimum of two years of dentistry experience in clinical or private practice is required • Relevant knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is an asset Compensation: $120 - $150 hourly
