GVW Group seeks a highly experienced General Counsel to translate the company’s vision into actionable legal strategies across its holding company and portfolio businesses. This hands‑on role requires sharp judgment, cross‑functional partnership, and a track record in governance, securities, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will lead corporate governance, negotiate critical agreements, and drive AI‑enabled legal tooling while safeguarding value and ensuring regulatory adherence

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 20 years of legal experience, with significant corporate experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel to senior management on legal matters.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
• Structure investment funds in compliance with legal and tax requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and represent the company in legal proceedings.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across all portfolio companies.
