Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a General Counsel for Procurement/ISC/Global Real Estate to lead the contract function, set strategy, and drive AI-enabled modernization across CLM, risk management, and templates. The role leads GRE/ISC contracting teams and partners with Procurement, GRE, and Finance to enable compliant, commercially sound agreements.

The candidate will shape governance, measure performance with KPIs, and advance digital contracting tools while delivering revenue enablement

Qualifications

• 8+ years of contracting, negotiation, or related commercial/legal roles.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contract law, terms and risk management.
• Experience using or implementing AI/automation in CLM.
• Strong understanding of digital contracting tools and analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating high-value contracts.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement contract strategies, templates, tools, and standard terms.
• Oversee negotiation, review, and execution of procurement contracts and other commercial agreements with a focus on standardization and automation.
• Partner with Procurement, ISC and GRE leadership on deal structuring and strategy.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing contracts team with KPIs and governance.
• Pilot AI and analytics to enhance contract lifecycle management and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve contractual issues and manage risk.
• Ensure adherence to contracting policies, governance processes, and continuous improvement.
