Job summary

Our client is hiring a Deputy General Counsel to join their privately held family office.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced commercial litigator who is ready to expand beyond traditional litigation into a broader business advisory and leadership role.

The position reports directly to the General Counsel and offers significant exposure to commercial transactions, real estate, construction, development, environmental matters, risk management, and strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Advise management and ownership on a broad range of legal and business matters.
• Handle and oversee commercial, real estate, and construction-related disputes.
• Assist with transactions, development projects, contracts, and operational matters.
• Identify and manage legal and business risks.
• Work directly with the General Counsel on strategic initiatives and long-term planning.

Qualifications
