Job summary

Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd. seeks a General Conditions Project Manager for an Ohio-based, 12-month contract on a major pharma capital project. You will lead a senior client-side team, manage a multi-service package, and coordinate site utilities, logistics, and welfare to ensure timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience with large industrial capital schemes, direct construction leadership, and strong budget control across multi-million-dollar commitments and forecasts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering large industrial capital projects.
• 3 years directly managing construction/site services/General Conditions.
• Experience on a $500M+ capital programme or similarly complex multi-building project.
• Proven ownership of multi-million-dollar budgets including forecasts and variance reporting.

Be part of a next-generation pharmaceutical project that’s transforming how medicines are made. We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for aGeneral Conditions Project Manager to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll deliver:

• Senior, accountable client-side leadership role on a complex pharmaceutical capital project, managing a critical shared-services package that enables construction delivery.
• Broad operational scope across temporary facilities/utilities, logistics, access, welfare, weather response, supervision and common site resources.
• Genuine commercial ownership, managing a multi-million-dollar budget, forecasts, changes, resource demand and EPCM performance.
• Opportunity to operate at the centre of construction, project controls, contracts, procurement, site services and project leadership, making decisions that directly protect delivery.

What you’ll need:

• 8+ years delivering large industrial capital projects, with at least 3 years personally managing construction, site services, General Conditions or a similarly complex multi-service package.
• Active-construction experience on a $500M+ capital programme or comparably complex multi-building project.
• Proven ownership of a multi-million-dollar package budget, including commitments, actuals, accruals, forecasting/EAC, variance reporting and corrective action.
• Experience managing EPCM, general contractor or other external delivery partners, including contractor performance, resource-based/T&M services, change control and commercial scope boundaries.
