Job summary

Vonachen Group in Wisconsin is seeking a General Cleaner for a part-time 2nd shift role. You will perform routine cleaning tasks (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning), stock supplies, and help maintain a safe work environment.

Hours are Monday and Wednesday 5pm-6:30pm, with daily Pay option, PTO and 401(k) eligibility after 60 days. Starting wage is $17 per hour, with opportunities for growth within a family-focused company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work with little supervision and stay productive.
• Customer-oriented and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings.

Responsibilities

• Clean areas: dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, and restroom sanitation.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitorial supply rooms.
• Inform management of safety hazards or needed repairs.
• Monitor building security and lock doors after hours.
• Perform additional duties and trainings as assigned.

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job responsibilities:

• Clean, including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
