Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking a General Cleaner for part-time 2nd shift in Godfrey, IL. You will perform cleaning tasks across facilities, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and restroom cleaning, while adhering to safety guidelines.

This role emphasizes reliability, customer-focused service, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The position offers weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 4:00 PM–6:00 PM) with a starting wage of $15 per hour, PTO eligibility, and Daily Pay options after hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high-level of performance
• Customer-oriented and friendly
• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Physical requirements: stand/walk long periods, repeat movements, lift up to 50 lbs, bend and twist

Responsibilities

• Clean, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, and gather/empty trash following health and safety regulations
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms
• Inform management of safety hazards or needed repairs
• Monitor building security by locking doors after hours
• Complete other duties and trainings as assigned by supervisor

Job responsibilities:

• Clean, including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
