Vonachen Group in Champaign, Illinois, is seeking a part-time General Cleaner for the 2nd shift (6:00pm-8:00pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday). The role focuses on cleaning duties, safety, and customer service, with a pay of $17 per hour and daily pay option.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, reliable transportation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. PTO and 401(k) eligibility are offered after a short probation.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, restroom cleaning, and trash removal following health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or needed repairs.
• Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job responsibilities:

• Clean, including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
