IFS is hiring a General Cleaner to join our Janitorial Services Team in Minnesota. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule with days and nights, including weekends, and shifts such as 11pm–6am.

You’ll perform cleaning tasks across rooms, restrooms, offices, and public areas, maintaining cleanliness and safety in a dynamic facility environment. Candidates must be able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand long hours, and read safety and procedure documents.

Qualifications

• Lifting up to 49 pounds, ability to lift 15–25 pounds, regular bending and stretching.
• Standing and walking up to 10–12 hours.
• Reading and interpreting safety rules and procedure manuals.

Responsabilités

Work Schedule: Days/nights vary, including weekends

Shifts Available

11pm-6am 6 days a week

Our General Cleaner position performs the following duties within designated work areas, as assigned at the beginning of each shift:

• Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Regularly check the trash receptacles, emptying as needed, in all areas of the site.
• Collect, consolidate, and separate recycling into proper receptacles.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, furniture, and equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the customer and team member restrooms (includes cleaning and policing as needed).
• Complete sweep logs, as directed.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills.
• Report work accomplished orally or on written work order to supervisor daily.
• Other janitorial duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements For Our General Cleaner Positions

• Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds each
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
• Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds
• Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
• Standing and walking in and around the facility with great frequency for up to 10-12 hours
• Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required).
