General Cleaner

CentroVilla25 is looking for a Cleaner!

CentroVilla25 is an adaptive reuse of a vacant 32,500 square foot warehouse and office building with an additional 12,500 square foot expansion. The market will feature twenty kiosk-style micro-retail spaces, commercial kitchen, business innovation center and co-working space, office space for Latino and neighborhood-serving organizations, outdoor plaza with restaurant, and a community gathering space for arts & culture programming. CentroVilla25 will catalyze economic impact through job creation and business development, developing a thriving local living economy, and creative placemaking that celebrates Latino culture.

We have immediate openings. Join us as a Part-time cleaner providing service to the new CentroVilla 25 located in Cleveland. The ideal candidate will perform highly diversified duties to manage and maintain the cleanliness of the facility including office spaces, lobby areas, break rooms, bathrooms, meetings spaces and other common areas both inside and outside of the building.

Hours:

Morning: 6AM- 1PM

Afternoon: 12PM-6PM

Nights: 5PM- 9:30PM

*Mandatory Weekends

The cleaner will work under the supervision of the Supervisor and perform a variety of custodial duties for Centro Villa 25. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of CentroVilla 25.

Typical Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Basic cleaning responsibilities - requires no previous experience.

Fully sanitize and disinfect all surfaces used by guests and team members.

Maintain cleanliness throughout shift.

Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces.

Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas.

Clean glass, mirrors and partitions.

Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.

Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily.

Monitor possible defects such as clogged urinals and lights out, and report issues to supervisors.

Collect building trash daily and place it in designated collection area for subsequent removal.

Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers.

Perform shift projects: High dusting, leather and wood surface, polishing, wall washing, etc.

Any and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must be 16 years of age or older.

Candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check, including criminal history.

Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as a part of a team.

Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.

Must have attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service and high levels of energy and endurance.

Ability to walk for extended periods of time, as well as bend, stoop, push, pull and lift up to 30 lbs.
