Responsibilities of a Custodian/Janitor:

1. Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
2. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment to prevent damage.
3. Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
4. Empty trash cans and use a compactor for certain materials.
5. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
6. Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing.
7. Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
8. Follow the housekeeping schedule.
9. Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
10. Perform other duties as assigned based on customer needs.

Qualifications for Success:

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a drug test if required.
• Some prior cleaning experience is preferred.

Position Details:

• Full-time employment.
• Approximately 5 hours per day.
• Work days include Sunday through Saturday.
• Compensation: $14.00 per hour.
