Role and Responsibilities:

1. Measuring and accurately cutting building materials (when needed).
2. Assembling structures according to specifications and direction given by the lead.
3. Building structures with SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels), ICFs (Insulated Concrete Forms), wood framing, and supporting materials.
4. Always keep the job site clean and organized by putting away tools and materials after use, sweeping up, and performing other cleaning tasks.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

There are no specific training requirements for this position. However, a high school diploma or G.E.D. is required. An ability to read and perform basic math is important to help you progress and safely perform your job.

Preferred Skills:

1. Basic math skills.
2. Ability to read and follow plans/blueprints.
3. Measuring and planning; knowledge of building code applications.
4. Ability to lift/carry heavy pieces of material or structures.
5. Use of saws and other power tools.
6. Use of various hand tools.
