Job description

Position Summary:

The General Laborer will assist the production department in the completion of their duties and responsibilities. These duties may include assisting in some chipping, grinding, and will help to prep and setup for our welders. Will assemble parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications.

Essential Functions:

• Performs general duties using a variety of tools and equipment
• Performs daily inspection of work area
• Basic proficiency in operating shop equipment
• Examines material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds
• Physically move product to designated areas
• Assist others as needed
• Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Prioritizes work flow through effective communication with management
• Maintains a clean and safe work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years old
