The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center invites applications for a Physician or Physician Scientist to serve as Section Director of General Cardiology. The role includes senior leadership for clinical, academic, and operational directions, fostering education, research, and program growth within a world‑class facility.

Qualified candidates will have board certification, fellowship training in Cardiovascular Medicine, and 5–10 years of clinical experience with eligibility for Ohio

Qualifications

• Board Eligible/Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine.
• Successful completion of a US accredited Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of clinical experience in cardiology.
• Eligible for an Ohio license.
• Clinical or translational research experience preferred.
• Qualify for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University; salary commensurate with training and experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide senior leadership for clinical, academic, operational, and strategic direction of General Cardiology.
• Advance high-quality patient care, faculty development, education, and research.
• Lead multidisciplinary collaboration across the cardiovascular enterprise.
• Expand diagnosis and treatment to support inpatient and outpatient programs at Ohio State.
