Job summary

The Ohio State University seeks a dynamic board-certified/board-eligible cardiologist to serve as Section Director of General Cardiology. Lead an elite team of academic general cardiologists with senior responsibility for clinical care, education, research, and program growth at a world-class facility.

Applicants should have an MD or equivalent, US cardiovascular fellowship, and 5–10 years' cardiology experience, with eligibility for Ohio licensure.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible/Certified in cardiology.
• US-accredited Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship completed.
• Minimum 5–10 years clinical cardiology experience.
• Ohio license eligibility.
• Clinical or translational research experience preferred.
• Academic appointment at OSU; rank and salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership as Section Director, General Cardiology, overseeing clinical, academic, operational and strategic directions.
• Expand diagnosis and treatment capabilities to support inpatient and outpatient programs at OSU Wexner Medical Center.
• Foster faculty development, education, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration across the cardiovascular enterprise.
• Drive program growth, quality of care, and translational research initiatives.
