Job summary

Penn Medicine's Heart Group of Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time General Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This highly productive cardiology group includes 30 physicians and 28 NPs, with inpatient rounds and outpatient office care; occasional travel to satellite offices.

The NP will work with a collaborative team, provide rounds, consults, and discharges, and manage early follow-up with patients to ensure progress; hours are four 10-hour shifts per week with one

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Pennsylvania prescriptive authority
• Pennsylvania RN licensure
• ANCC Adult/Gerontology Acute Care NP certification
• Minimum one-year NP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• R rounds on inpatient service and manage discharge planning
• See outpatients in the office setting
• Collaborate in rounds, consults, and discharges
• Occasional travel to satellite office
