Job summary

Penn Medicine's Heart Group of Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time General Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join a busy team of physicians and NPs. The NP will participate in inpatient rounds, see outpatients in the office, and contribute to a collaborative, autonomous cardiology program in a high-volume environment.

Occasional travel to a satellite office may be required. Hours are primarily days with four 10-hour shifts weekly and one weekend per quarter, with some evenings or

Qualifications

• Valid CRNP license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania.
• Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• ANCC or equivalent certification in Adult/ Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.

Responsibilities

• R rounds on inpatient service and see outpatients in the office setting.
• Assist in rounds, consults, and discharges with a high degree of autonomy.
• Follow up with recently discharged patients to ensure treatment plan progress.
• Occasional travel to a satellite office may be required.

Education

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) license

Certificate of Prescriptive Authority (PA)

Pennsylvania RN licensure

ANCC Adult/ Gerontology Acute Care NP certification
