Job summary

Florida Gulf Coast University is seeking two Instructor I positions in General Business. Candidates must hold a graduate degree in Management or a related field with 18 graduate credit hours in management or general business, plus evidence of successful teaching.

Experience in research or professional practice is desirable. The Department offers concentrations in HR, International Business, Leadership, Sports Management, and IT-driven management, and teaches core courses including Introduction

Qualifications

Earned grad degree in Management or related field with 18 graduate credit hours in management or general business.
Evidence of effective instruction in undergraduate courses.
Experience in teaching, with preference for online or hybrid formats.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate courses in general business (e.g., Introduction to Business, Professional Development Skills, Business Strategy).
Prepare and deliver course content including syllabi, lectures, and assessments.
Maintain scheduled office hours and communicate professionally with students and staff.
Participate in department, college, and university meetings and curriculum development.
Utilize the university LMS and other technologies to support teaching.
Complete mandatory trainings and comply with institutional policies.
Engage in ongoing self‑assessment and professional development.
Contribute to service at departmental, institutional, community, and professional levels.
