Job summary

AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care is seeking a General Automotive/R&R Technician to service a broad range of vehicle repair issues and quickly identify the cause of performance problems. The role emphasizes hands-on diagnosis and repair of automotive systems, including transmissions.

You will inspect, diagnose and repair, remove and reinstall transmissions, assist other technicians, explain problems to service writers, and document findings to support accurate repair estimates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a General Automotive Technician.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Own professional grade tools to service any general repair need.
• Experience troubleshooting and conducting mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing.
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
