The Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships is expanding its Truck Shop at Frederick Ford in Seaford, Delaware, offering strong year-round work, competitive pay, and ongoing training. We seek experienced diesel/automotive technicians who can diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel systems and related components in a modern, well-equipped shop.

Qualifications include diesel repair experience, a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and a full set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, suspension, brakes, and emissions.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and testing on major components.
• Complete accurate repair orders and communicate with Service Advisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technologies.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Automotive and/or diesel repair experience
• ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
