Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Launch Supervisor to guide the development and revision of torque tool equipment and processes for automotive manufacturing. You will ensure standards are followed from design through implementation and assembly, coordinating with manufacturing, maintenance and multiple engineering groups.

The role requires experience in General Assembly, strong communication, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams, with overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in General Assembly or equivalent.
  • Self-motivated and works well in a team environment.
  • Ability to interface with both management and labor forces.
  • Ability to work overtime and travel as required.
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills - both orally and in writing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and excellent to advanced in EXCEL.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and revision of torque tool equipment and processes in automotive manufacturing.

Job description

The Vehicle Processing Engineering (VPE) General Assembly Processing Engineering (GAPE) Core Technologies Launch Supervisor is responsible for leading the development and revision of automotive manufacturing torque tool equipment and processes. The person in this role ensures that standards are implemented and followed in every aspect of the model launch from the project's inception and design all the way through implementation and assembly. The Launch Supervisor will manage General Assy projects, supervise union represented Engineers within UAW contract requirements and satisfy Manufacturing Quality Assurance System requirements. The Supervisor will interface with manufacturing, maintenance, various engineering groups, finance and purchasing. The candidate must possess superior written and verbal communication skills as well as exemplary organizational skills. May cross to other Core groups (Electrical, Alignment). Fastening knowledge preferred.

Basic Qualifications

  • New model vehicle launch experience
