General Assembler – Production Housekeeping No exp is Required - 3rd Shift 10 PM to 6 AM

Job summary

BD Pharmaceutical Company in El Paso, TX seeks a General Assembler – Production Housekeeping for a 15-month contract on 3rd shift (10:00pm - 6:00am, M-F). Total hours per week are 40. Employment type is Contract on W2; US Citizens, GC Holders, or equivalent are required.

Under direct supervision, you will train to perform duties related to cleaning and housekeeping on the production floor and in packaging areas, following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3 months in cleaning activities - Preferred.
• Ability to communicate in a positive way.
• Available to work overtime as required.
• Good attendance.
• Organization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning common areas in the production floor.
• Use dust mop to clean production floors.
• Mop production floor with approved chemicals per procedure.
• Buff production floors as needed as schedule.
• Clean doors, windows, fire extinguishers, desk areas, chairs, copy machines in the production floor.
• Empty common trash cans from assembly and packaging areas as needed.
• Clean main and packaging transition rooms daily with approved cleaning solutions (doors, windows, hanger poles, trash cans, etc.).
• Empty trash cans from transition rooms as needed and replace plastic bags.
• Replace sticky mats as needed.
• Clean and organize mop closet as needed.
• Wash mops and mop buckets as at the end of every shift.
• Change dust mops and mop head per procedure.
• Participate in saving projects or assignments as requested by manager.
• Make a positive contribution through demonstration of ability to seek out assistance from co-workers as needed.
