Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking an entry-level General Assembler for a 12-month contract in El Paso, TX. The role is 3rd shift (10:00 pm – 6:00 am) with a 40-hour workweek and pay range of $16–$20 per hour. Requires basic English, GMP familiarity, and willingness to work overtime.

Assigned to a medical devices environment, duties include training for production of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and/or devices, under supervision and SOPs. Employment type is W2 contract.

Qualifications

• Basic English reading/writing preferred.
• Problem solving skills are highly preferred.
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and tools is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Under direct supervision, trains to perform duties related to the preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and/or medical devices in accordance with standard operating procedures, as regulated by quality, environmental, and safety agencies (FDA, OSHA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Possess a basic understanding of production processes within area of assignment and a working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
• Follow GMP, s and standard operating procedures.
• Transport materials of varying weight in accordance with established safety guidelines using material handling equipment and additional assistance as required.
• Demonstrates adherence to safety procedures by monitoring personal and peer behaviours, work environment and housekeeping.
• Available for overtime as needed
• Performs all duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matter such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, identifying, reporting, and appropriately responding to hazards in the work area (spills/accidents/near misses), always maintaining proper housekeeping, and properly labelling and storing chemicals.
• Assume responsibility for the environmental effects of work performed and for the identification and recording of environmental problems as they arise. Complete all regulatory training as assigned (GPM, s, ISO14001, OSHA, etc.).
• Complete Operator Training Program according to established guidelines.
• Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management.

Qualifications

• 4 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Able to read, write, and understand Basic English preferred.
